Welcome to a Junk Journal Australia Exclusive!
You've Got Spooky Mail is a cosy Halloween and Autumn-inspired happy mail swap that brings together 13 creative members of our community to create a unique advent-style calendar filled with handmade journalling treasures.
Think crunchy leaves, glowing jack-o’-lanterns, vintage Halloween magic, bubbling potions, black cats, friendly ghosts, cinnamon-spiced treats, and plenty of spooky crafty goodness.
How It Works
When you join, you'll create and send 13 similar journalling items to Abbe (Junk Journal Australia).
Examples include:

✨ Spooky die cuts
✨ Lace snippets
✨ Mini tags
✨ Handmade embellishments
✨ Tiny paintings
✨ Journal cards
✨ Pockets
✨ Tickets
✨ Ephemera pieces
Your items do not have to be Halloween themed, although they absolutely can be. We simply ask that they reflect your personal journalling style and are created with care and attention.
Once all participant contributions have arrived, Abbe will collate, sort, wrap, and package everything into a special advent-style calendar.
Each calendar will contain 13 different handmade items created by 13 different members of the Junk Journal Australia community. Please note that due to the size of the Facebook group, we may run several rounds of this calendar, so people may post about things that were not necessarily made for your group, vice versa.
A creator card will also be included so you'll know who made each treasure inside your calendar.
Important Dates
🎃 August 6th – Advent Calendars go on sale
📮 August 31st – Final date for participant items to be sent to Abbe
👻 September 30th – Advent Calendars are posted from Townsville
Cost
The cost to participate is $13.
This fee covers packaging materials, tracked postage and website costs.
You are not purchasing a retail product. This is a community craft swap where participants exchange handmade creations with one another. No refunds will be processed. This is non-refundable.
Limited Places
Only 13 places are available.
Once all spots have been filled, registrations will close.
